RoyalNeverGiveUpisaChineseesportsorganizationfoundedin2015.Fromitsestablishment,RNGimmediatelymadewavesintheLeagueofLegendscompetitivescene.Theirfirstmajortournamentwincameinthe2015DemaciaCup,wheretheydefeatedTeamWEinthefinals.Inthesameyear,theyalsoreachedthesemifinalsoftheWorldChampionship,wheretheylosttoeventualchampionsSKTT1.
TheGoldenYears
In2018,RNGbecamethefirstChineseteamtowinamajorinternationaltournament,theMid-SeasonInvitational.TheydefeatedKingzoneDragonXinthefinalstoclaimthetrophy.Laterthatyear,theyalsowontheLPLSummerSplitandsecuredtheirplaceintheWorldChampionship.AtWorlds,theymadeitallthewaytothesemifinals,wheretheyfacedoffagainstEuropeanpowerhouseFnatic.Despitetakingthefirstgameoftheseries,RNGultimatelylostthematch1-3andwereeliminatedfromthetournament.
OvercomingAdversity
Theyear2019provedtobemoredifficultforRNG.TheystruggledintheLPL,finishingonlyfourthintheSpringSplitandsixthintheSummerSplit.However,theyfoughtvaliantlyintheplayoffsandmanagedtosecureaspotattheWorldsonceagain.There,theyfacedoffagainsttopteamssuchasG2EsportsandSKTT1.Althoughtheyfailedtomakeitoutofthegroupstage,theystillshowedtheworldthattheywereaforcetobereckonedwith.
In2020,RNGonceagainhadadifficultstarttotheyear.TheyfinishedonlyseventhintheSpringSplitandwereunabletoqualifyfortheMid-SeasonCupduetotravelrestrictionscausedbytheCOVID-19pandemic.However,theybouncedbackintheSummerSplit,finishingsecondandearningaspotattheWorldsonceagain.AtWorlds,theymadeittothequarterfinalsbutwereeliminatedbyEuropeanteamFnaticonceagain,continuingtheirstreakofnevermakingitpastthesemifinals.
TheLegacyofRoyalNeverGiveUp
Despitetheirsetbacks,RNGcontinuestobeoneofthemostpopularandsuccessfulesportsorganizationsintheworld.Theyhavewonnumerousdomesticandinternationaltitles,andhaveconsistentlyshownanever-give-upattitudeinthefaceofadversity.Theirfans,knownastheRoyalFamily,continuetosupportthemthroughthickandthin.
AsRNGlookstowardthefuture,itisclearthattheywillcontinuetobeaforceintheLeagueofLegendscompetitivescene.Withtheirunwaveringdedicationtothegameandtheirwillingnesstoovercomechallenges,thereisnodoubtthattheywillcontinuetoachievegreatness.
